PVR?s iconic multiplex at Mani Square- Kolkata, gets refurbished for its movie lovers: PVR Cinemas, the largest cinema exhibitor in India, has revamped its four screens multiplex at Mani Square in Kolkata. Upholding its commitment in the eastern states, PVR comprises of 13 screens and 3 properties in West Bengal and in the artistic and cultural city-Kolkata. The revamped 4-screens property offers a spectacular movie watching experience with its luxury interiors, state of the art sound and superior infrastructure. East has always been an important market for PVR because of its cultural diversities and demand for evolved cinema experience. PVR collaborates with YM Movies to bring the world?s first VR Multisensory episodic feature film - ?Le Musk?: PVR Cinemas, the largest cinema exhibitor in India, has partnered with Academy-Award winning composer A.R. Rahman?s YM Movies to bring the world?s first Virtual Reality (VR) Multisensory episodic feature film ?Le Musk?. Rahman has added yet another feather to his cap by making his directorial debut with ?Le Musk?. The composer is launching an exclusive India prelude of his VR movie today at Asia?s only VR Lounge, PVR ECX, Mall of India in Noida. The India prelude of ?Le Musk? comes after being showcased at the 'NAB', Las Vegas, as part of the Intel-Keynote on the 24th of April. The experience of scent, motion, spacial sound and visuals amalgamated together to give the viewer a stereosmokic effect on the Voyager chair, specially designed by Postiron. As the title suggests, the film is based on smell and the protagonist is lost in the aroma that has engulfed her. Shot in picturesque Rome, the film follows the journey of an orphaned heiress and part-time musician, Juliet, who grows up to be a diva on a mission. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she receives an anonymous message, which brings back her mysterious past. Written, directed and scored by A.R. Rahman, the film stars Nora Arnezeder, Guy Burnet, Munirih Jahanpour and Mariam Zohrabyan in lead roles. Through this rollout, PVR cinemas will reach a count of 10 IMAX screens and will retain its position as the largest IMAX partner in India. The program aims to empower young people to make educational and sustainable decisions favorable to healthy lifestyles and social development. It will address the hidden concerns of adolescents, make health education and safe learning accessible to young girls, educate on health planning, influence social and economic integration of adolescents, provide youth counselling services and promote health policies and best hygiene practices. Therefore, in the given situation, the campaign will be the apt initiative amongst adolescent girls to inspire change within themselves and the communities by acting as ?Health Ambassadors?. The initiative will also give an opportunity to the participating children from schools to create their own films on the five thematic areas, after exhaustive film-marking workshops, which will be screened across PVR Cinemas to spark over 80 million new conversations.
